Hey guys!
There is a Christmas ornament making contest at one of the Starbucks near me. Part of the criteria is that the ornament has to use at least one of the four materials they give you: A dome lid, two halves of a straw, a handful of coffee beans, and a little felt thingy that has the word Christmas written on it in glitter glue.

Well with the help of my sister, using two of the dome lids, a handful of straws, a ton of the drink sleeves, some tape, some glue, some paper, some paint, some cardboard, a bunch of sticky snow flakes, and a ton of Nerdiness, I have the perfect Christmas ornament!

I don't know... I think the contest ends on Christmas day though.

And... You hate STARBUCKS?  :o >:( :'(

I live in the land of Starbucks. There are literally dozens within an hour of my house. We also have the big headquarters in Seattle (which is only a ferry ride away) and the Pike Place market where Starbucks was born!

I like Peets coffee.. slow roasted.
Starbucks flash roasts.. tastes burned sometimes.

The guyw who own SB used to work for Peets... based in the SFBay area. Peets said NO to flash roasting even tho it meant more profit, so the SB guys left and started SB.
They were prohibited from building a store in CA for 10 years, and Peets agreed not to build OUTSIDE Ca.. but they did mail order and web sales and out sold SB every year of the ten.

@MsRowdyRedhead: That's very interesting, I don't think I have ever even heard of Peets. To be honest though I don't really drink coffee either. I rarely go to Starbucks, and when I do, I usually get a cold drink such as a Frappuccino.

Btw, I love that word "brickzillion"! :P
